ICC Garden state would like to thank all our Members, Patrons and Sponsors for helping us successfully organize Durga Puja 2019.
Throughout the year, the spread of COVID-19 shocked the world and put many countries into a state of panic. In addition to the COVID-19 pandemic at large, the recent cyclone Amphan has caused mass flooding and catastrophic damage to homes, villages, and communities in West Bengal. Media coverage has been showing the devastating results of the cyclone that caused people to lose their homes and to be without basic necessities such as food and shelter. In spite of all these events, there is still a large response and continued effort from First Responders as well as hundreds of volunteers to help whomever is in need. These efforts are tremendous but even more is needed in these times of strife.
These are uncertain times, but now more than ever we need to show the solidarity and empathy of our vast community and there is no better way to stimulate this than to show our resourcefulness and the initiatives we are taking to support not only ourselves, but the world around us.
To accomplish this goal, ICC would like to extend a helping hand to those affected by Cyclone Amphan in Kolkata, Sundarban, 24 Parganas, and the surrounding areas within West Bengal. We are creating a donation platform through ICC in support of the following organizations:
We humbly request all members and patrons to donate to this cause through ICC. All funds will be forwarded to the organizations listed above in order to provide relief to the people that have directly been affected by these tragedies.
Please donate at www.icc-gs.org or send a check to Sudip Saha at 38 Forest Drive, Parsippany New Jersey 07054. Please note all donations are tax-deductible.
