President's Message

Dear ICC Members

On behalf of the newly appointed Executive Committee, I would like to thank each and every one of you, the members of ICC, for turning up for the ICC Election 2010. I hope everybody had the opportunity to see election conducted fairly under the watch of our able Election Commissioners Mr. Bikas Chatterjee, Mr. Prabhu Guha Thakurtha, and Mrs. Eva Chatterjee. I thank them for a job well done. I also thank our outgoing EC members from 2009-2010 for all the supports and contributions. I hope everybody had their bit of fun during the Election and AGM.

I welcome the new incoming EC members. Election has just created an EC, but as an organization we are all bound together. I assure every member that this is his or her organization and we are all in it together. We want your wholehearted participation. We will work unitedly to make it better and richer in all senses. We are delighted to see few second generation Bengali Indians in ICC and are all excited to involve them in our organization’s various activities. Remember we will always keep “Members first” as our motto. We will also work hard to promote our Bengali and Indian culture and will involve children of our community in our functions and activities as a first priority.

I also welcome any suggestions from the members that will improve the operations of ICC. I am looking forward to continue to serve this organization as the 2nd term President of the Executive Committee.
